@BishopBob747 Twitter....I just read your article in today’s(3/20) news and immediately had to reach out, which I rarely or ever do. You gracefully, tactfully, and respectively speak your truth and don’t attempt to sugar coat it. I find that a very rare occurrence in today’s articles. You have been blessed with a gift and I look forward to your future articles.

I wouldn’t consider myself to be a “normal guy” as I was an active daily heroin, opioid addict for over 40 years. I also obtained a Masters in Divinity and excelled in Pastoral Counseling. If an ambulance pulls up upon my call and 2 female paramedics emerge, I instantly feel much safer and secure than if 2 males emerge. There is a lot of life experience that brings that about. I have also found that Tucker Carlson does not live on the same planet as I do.

Dear Phoebe -
I read your fine piece in Huffington Post and wanted to contact you immediately. As a woman myself, I was elated to read your declaration of equality in EMS work and saddened by the response that females receive in your occupation.
